In my home state of Pennsylvania, State Senate Bill 775 was passed on December 6, 2011, and sent to the State House Judiciary Committee. The bill, if passed, would allow for the creation of "a DNA data bank containing DNA samples submitted by individuals arrested for, charged with, convicted of, adjudicated delinquent for or accepted into ARD for felony sex offenses and other specified offenses."
I predict that in the year 2012 the bill will be passed by the State House and signed into law by Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett.
